TICKET SCALPING / RE-SELLING OF TICKETS

Ticket scalping is against the law and will not be permitted in and around the property of The Fox Theater. In addition, in accordance with the California Penal Code Section 346, guests may not sell their unused tickets to others in and around The Fox Theater. 

California Penal Code Section 346: "Any person who, without the written permission of the owner or operator of the property on which an entertainment event is to be held or is being held, sells a ticket of admission to the entertainment event, which was obtained for the purpose of resale, at any price which is in excess of the price that is printed or endorsed upon the ticket, while on the grounds of or in the stadium, arena, theater, or other place where an event for which admission tickets are sold is to be held or is being held, is guilty of a misdemeanor."

FACILITY RE-ENTRY DURING EVENTS

The Fox Theater has a "no re-entry" policy during events. 

SMOKING

Smoking is not allowed inside the theater.


STILL PHOTOGRAPHY 

Unless otherwise specified by management, guests may not bring professional photographic equipment in to the facility. Guests are also prohibited from engaging in commercial photography of any kind without the prior approval of Fox Theater management. 
The following is a partial list of the prohibited camera equipment:  

. Flash photography
. Monopods or tripods
. Cameras with interchangeable lenses
. Cameras with lenses greater than 3 ½ inches in length
Producer and/or theater management may have additional rules further restricting or prohibiting photography.

AUDIO / VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES

Unless otherwise specified by management and/or producer, guests may not bring any types of audio / video recording devices in to the facility. These devices include, but are not limited to, video camcorders, audio recording devices, etc.

INSPECTIONS

All guests entering the theater during an event may be subject to a metal-detector screening, visual inspection, and/or a bag inspection and check for weapons or cans and bottles.
The security personnel will conduct their inspections with respect toward the guests' dignity and rights. In no circumstance shall the inspections be conducted in a discriminatory manner or pattern. 

SERVING AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL

The Fox Theater and its alcohol beverage concessionaires have adopted an alcohol policy that is designed to help prevent and protect guests and the community from alcohol-related incidents. Guests are expected to obey all state and local laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. In addition, the following items are to be noted: 
. Alcoholic beverages will not be served in containers larger than 16 ounces
. There shall be a maximum limit of two alcoholic beverages sold to each guest, per purchase.
. The Fox Theater reserves the right to eject anyone under the age of twenty one (21) who is observed to be consuming alcohol on the premises or who appears to be visibly intoxicated.

TheFox Theater and its alcohol beverage concessionaires will implement ongoing responsible alcohol management training sessions for its serving staff. 

 

INTOXICATED GUESTS

The Fox Theater reserves the right to deny entry to intoxicated guests. Any intoxicated guests causing a disturbance during an event, will be asked to leave the theater and may be subject to arrest. 
 

DISTURBANCES

All guests must maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Guests using offensive language or engaging in disorderly conduct may be ejected from the facility and may be subject to arrest. Ejected guests will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way for their loss. Disturbances include, but are not limited to, the following: 
. Standing on chairs
. Drunk and disorderly conduct
. Fighting or challenging others to fight
. "Mooning" or exposing private body parts
. Violation of The Fox Theater event policies
. Violation of the local, state, and federal laws and statues
. Igniting and display of flames, i.e. lighters / matches, in the theater
. Attempting to enter or access the stage area without permission
. Throwing, discharging, or launching any liquid substance
. Willfully and maliciously disturbing another guest / employee with loud and unreasonable noise
. Using profanity and/or offensive words which are likely to provoke a violent reaction from others

 

WEAPONS PROHIBITED 

Guests, including law enforcement personnel not present in an official uniformed capacity, are prohibited from bringing weapons into the theater. Fox Theater does not provide weapon lockers. Weapons may not be checked in by any staff or security personnel, weapons include, but are not limited to, the following:
Firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas, knives with blades over 2” in length.
Guests found in possession of the above-mentioned items will be asked to remove the item from the theater. Guests who refuse to comply will be ejected from the theater and may be subject to arrest. 

 

DRESS CODE

The Fox Theater management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images. Guests are also prohibited from being barefooted while walking inside the theater. Also any guestwith attire that may be perceived by law enforcement or security personnelto be gang attire or gang affiliated may be denied entry. 

 

WHEELCHAIR / DISABLED TICKETING POLICY

The Fox Theater is committed to providing guests with a safe and enjoyable entertainment experience. As a guest, if you need to request special accommodations for wheelchairs or other mobility impairments please contact the venue box office. Disabled persons seating must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance before the show date. Please note it is prohibited for anyone, other than those with a disability or that of a guest's companion to use tickets for disabled seating locations (unless area has been released for general seating). Those purchasing wheelchair seating may purchase one (1) wheelchair seat and one (1) attendant seat, any additional seats must be purchased in the regular seating areas. This policy ensures that we are able to accommodate all available and accessible wheelchair seats in our theater.

 

EJECTION / CONDUCT POLICY

The following are actions and/or causes for person(s) to be subject to ejection from the Fox Theater, but not limited to, as with all policies, they are subject to change. The Fox Theater Management reserves the right to add, modify, or delete the following with or without notice: 

1. No animals allowed except seeing/hearing dogs. 
2. Failure to move from a seat that you don't posses a ticket for, on ticketed events. 
3. Public intoxication. 
4. Throwing any object as a projectile, spitting, or the use of laser pointers. 
5. Fighting or threats to fight. 
6. Verbal threats of violence towards staff, artist, vendors, or guests. 
7. Offensive or profane language and/or lewd conduct. 
8. Bringing outside food or drink into the theater. 
9. Sale or possession of stolen tickets on premises. 
10. Smoking anywhere inside the facilities areas. 
11. Destruction and/or abuse of theater equipment and/or property.

12. Repeated refusal to cooperate with security or public safety requests. 
13. Unsafe, uncontrolled, and/or rowdy behavior making it unsafe or disturbing for the enjoyment of others. 
14. Conduct endangering ones own safety and health.
15. Taking videos or photographs without proper authorization.
16. Entering without a ticket or credentials.
17. Intentional violation of limited or restricted access areas: stages, sound mix positions, pit seating area, backstage, etc.
18. Immoral or vulgar behavior.
19. Alcohol intoxication with unsafe behavior.
20. Use of illegal drugs.
